The Lower Moreland Lightning Swimming & Diving Club is a Not-for-Profit organization.
A professional coaching staff instructs, nurtures, and encourages our swimmers –
an exceptional parents board of volunteers manages all other club administrative and operational functions.
We welcome and need parents who are willing to help with this work -

Lower Moreland Swimming & Diving receives no direct financial support from the Lower Moreland Township or LM School District. We rent & are permitted to use the High School facilities and we reciprocate by being good citizens and maintaining/purchasing much of the pool equipment. The facilities of the LM High School are rented by LMSD & LMOR.
Inclement weather closings:
When the Lower Moreland School District closes due to inclement weather - Lightning swim/dive practice is also canceled. Please consult www.lmtsd.org, or check this
web site for cancellation information. Thank you.
2009 USA SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICA TEAM The Scholastic All-America program is open to all 10th through 12th grade USA Swimming members who earn a 3.5 GPA or better and who achieve a Junior National Bonus Time Standard or better.

Summer Session I begins Monday, May 24th
Minimum required attendance 4x per week.
RED/RED-NTG schedule:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday 4:00-6:30pm
4:00-6:30pmTuesday & Thursday 4:00-7:00pm (Must have sneakers & gym clothes)

7:00-8:00pm Important: All groups must have their own training fins labeled (permanent marker) with the swimmer's name. Additionally, RED group participants must have a front-mount swim training snorkel for participation in the summer session. The snorkel should be available at Personal Best or you can purchase on-line (Metro Swim Shop has them available to ship). Ages 9-12 could purchase the front-mount snorkel in junior size, ages 13&older regular size. Order now! Please remind your children that they are responsible for their own equipment. Equipment left on deck or in the locker room is not the responsibility of the coaching staff. Looking forward to seeing you back at the pool soon.
