The Lower Moreland Lightning Swimming & Diving Club is a Not-for-Profit organization.
A professional coaching staff instructs, nurtures, and encourages our swimmers –
an exceptional parents board of volunteers manages all other club administrative and operational functions.
We welcome and need parents who are willing to help with this work -

Lower Moreland Swimming & Diving receives no direct financial support from the Lower Moreland Township or LM School District. We rent & are permitted to use the High School facilities and we reciprocate by being good citizens and maintaining/purchasing much of the pool equipment. The facilities of the LM High School are rented by LMSD & LMOR.

With step-by-step instructions, you will create your own secure account. If you choose the payment plan option at CHECKOUT you will be charged any misc. team fees other than training group fees (CIF, USA registration, & Dryland).
The payment plan gives the following description during registration:
3 equal payments due on September 3rd, October 3rd and November 3rd. If you signed up for auto-billing,
you were automatically debited on September 3rd 1/3 of your annual dues. Anyone who did not choose to
auto-debit their payment, must access their account and make their 1/3 payments.
Accounts were automatically charged by Active Network on September 3rd for the first payment. The charge should only be 1/3 of the training fees (plus the initial misc. team fees) paid up at this point unless you choose to go in to their online account and pay more.
Once registered with Active Network you may view your secure account by clicking the red "Account Login" button. Do not re-register each time.

Saturday, July 11th - North Penn Trophy Meet. Boys WU 7:10 am / Girls WU 12:50 pm.
Sunday, July 12th - Hidden Hollow practice 7:00-9:00 am.
If attending Sunday at Hidden Hollow, please sign up on the commitment sheet during practice.
The Hidden Hollow practice on Sunday, July 19th is for ages 13&older only.

Directions to UMMS: UMMS is located on 4000 Orangemans Road Hatboro, PA 19040. The school is approximately 4 miles from Lower Moreland HS. Take Byberry Road toward Hatboro. The next light past Davisville Road is Orangemans Road – turn RIGHT onto Orangemans Road. The middle school is one block on your left.
The entrance to the pool is in the back of the school.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled start time & pick-up 10 minutes after practice. Athletes arriving early must wait inside on the bleachers.
- Do not congregate in the High School lobby, parking lot or hallways. Spectators/siblings may not roam the school facility/grounds. Our access to the High School is limited to the pool area & locker rooms - No Exceptions!! Enter through the front doors of the high school and go directly into the pool area.
- Tuesdays are open for parent observation - please observe quietly from the bleachers to limit distractions. Practices are closed all other days; however, you may escort your young athletes into the locker room before/after practice daily.
- The coaching staff supervises your athlete only while on the pool deck. Parents are responsible for their child's behavior in the locker room facilities. Please talk to your children about respecting the school facilities and the property of others. LMSD has a zero tolerance policy for disrespect to the school facility - Any infractions will result in dismissal from the clinic without refund.
- All personal belongings should be locked in locker daily or placed on the bleachers during practice.
No overnight locks. Do not leave anything unlocked or unattended in the locker area. LM Lightning is not responsible for personal items lost/stolen.
- LMHS is a non-smoking campus - Including the parking lot.
- We use training fins on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Inclement weather closings:
When the Lower Moreland School District closes due to inclement weather - Lightning swim/dive practice is also canceled. Please consult www.lmtsd.org, or check this
web site for cancellation information. Thank you.

CONGRATULATIONS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!!
Wow! What a wonderful and busy weekend....
2 tough opponents, 229 Personal Best swims & dives, 16 Relay Best Times, 2 League Records, 6 Team Records, 6 LM pool records and
Lower Moreland Lightning Boys and Girls are the Undefeated Suburban Aquatic League Champions.
Our divers started us rolling with a great Friday night competition that resulted in the Boys team entering the swimming portion of the meet ahead of Radnor. LM diving girls had a spectacular night leaving us closer to NP than ever before. Saturday morning kicked off with our swimming Boys hosting Radnor - there was fast swimming by both teams with LMSD and Radnor each breaking 3 LM pool records. When the last race was swum and the Eagles cheer was done - LMSD boys earned the #1 League Champs title.
Later in Lansdale our swimming girls showed up ready to rock North Penn. Win or lose we were determined to give our best & most spirited effort. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED and another #1 League Champs title! We could not be more proud of our athletes and parents. Your faith in our programs and your support in our Lightning community got us to this point.
