The Lower Moreland Lightning Swimming & Diving Club is a Not-for-Profit organization.
A professional coaching staff instructs, nurtures, and encourages our swimmers –
an exceptional parents board of volunteers manages all other club administrative and operational functions.
We welcome and need parents who are willing to help with this work -
Lower Moreland Swimming & Diving receives no direct financial support from the Lower Moreland Township or LM School District. We rent & are permitted to use the High School facilities and we reciprocate by being good citizens and maintaining/purchasing much of the pool equipment. The facilities of the LM High School are rented by LMSD & LMOR.
Inclement weather closings:
When the Lower Moreland School District closes due to inclement weather - Lightning swim/dive practice is also canceled. Please consult www.lmtsd.org, or check this
web site for cancellation information. Thank you.

USA Swimming's 2011 Scholastic All-American:
Each year USA Swimming acknowledges high school swimmers who excel in the pool and in the classroom. You must have qualifying times and maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA. This year, 3 of our Lightning swimmers were recognized as SAA award winners. Congrats to Nick Angeny, Jarred Gettes, and Sarah Hammer for their hard work in and out of the pool! We are so proud!
