Matt has been involved with Lower Moreland Swimming since October 2021, first as an assistant coach, then associate head coach, and most recently as head coach. He is also the head coach of Lower Moreland High School's boys' and girls' swim teams.

Beginning at the age of 6, Matt has been involved in the sport for over 15 years. In high school, Matt trained and competed with Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club and qualified for US Nationals in the 400m Free. He was also an All-American and PIAA District 1 champion in the 500 Free while competing for Abington Sr. High School.

Matt is currently completing a BA in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to the pandemic, Matt swam for Penn’s Swimming & Diving team and competed at the 2019 US Open in the distance freestyle events. Following graduation, Matt hopes to remain involved in the sport and further pursue a career in coaching.
